a5c7b9f00b Based on the popular 70's TV show, three cute chicks work for the mysterious "Charlie". They are the female 'James Bonds'' of our time. They get to blow stuff up, kick the crap out of people, and wear really tight clothing, all whilst trying to retrieve stolen software and balance in high heels. The Angels Natalie, Dylan, and Alex are sent to place a bug in the voice-recognition system that bitter rival Roger Corwin has stolen. The Angels & Bosley must save Charlie's life. See them kick the sh*t out of people with high-tech martial arts! Why the talented Drew Barrymore would not only agree to star but to produce this mindless c**p is beyond me. It's a cheap, cheesy exploitation flick that reduces her and her fellow talented actress Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu to there most prominant body parts. There's no story, no characters just an hour and half of Drew and the girls looking good. And they do look good, but it sounds like no one looked at the script, even if there was one. How people can come up with dialogue this bad. And why is Bill Murray in this film? He's such a talented actor who deserved Oscar recognition for GROUNDHOG DAY and RUSHMORE, and we can only hope for the new HAMLET. This film is not campy fun, it's just plain bad. Want to see a film with pretty girls, actions scenes performed by pretty girls (sans 'weapons'), pretty girls who have an annoying tendancy to say "Good morning Charlie" to anything that resembles a speaker phone with saccrine sweetness then this is the flick for you!

Not much of a plot to talk of - and thankfully so, because a plot can certainly get the in road of a good action scene! There are more costume changes in this film than a care to count and the whole film kinda screams "commercial spin-off" - but who cares. There are some truly delightful comic moments in the film and a killer soundtrack.

This is definately a film to check your brain at the door and sit back and enjoy without too much worry. A babe-athon, pure and simple.
